Hello world, this is my first official project ever titled Joseph (the mixtape). I've been rapping since I was 14yrs old, roughly over six years ago, however this will be my 1st completed project. Over the span of the last 8months Ive been experimenting with my craft. Getting better at storytelling, wordplay, flow, production choices etc. All I have to my name is an $100 microphone and a toshiba laptop from which all of this was created. I hope that everyone who listens will fully enjoy this project, I put alot of thought and work into the overall concept of the mixtape plus the individual songs and the purposes they serve toward this project. The reason I chose to name this tape "Joseph" is quite simple, my aim is to give you a little bit of me over the course of 12tracks, from my more introspective side, to the women loving, liquor sipping side of me. With that being said, each song is different, and serves the purpose of letting you in to different aspects of my life, in which I hope you find at least one you can relate to. From the deep concepts of songs like "Pages" and "Mt.Olympus" to the more story driven "Wrong" to the straight up rappity rapping of "Brand New Guys" and "Tiny Umbrella" to the moments where Im just venting on tracks like "Balling on a Budget" and "Watch me Play". Even though this may seem like a simple mixtape its way more than that. Its a work of art, its a coming of age story, but mostly Its a stepping stone. My introduction into the world of music that I hope to one day stand at the forefront of.. This is me.....Joseph.
